2nd October, 2008 - Gandhi Jayanti laced with hartal

Kerala's Manajapra Forane Units of the Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM) and Christian Life Community (CLC) observed a dawn-to-dusk hartal to condemn the alleged police atrocity on the parishioners of Sebipuram under the Kalady police station limit. Though the shops and establishments remained closed and the vehicles went off the road, no untoward incident was reported. Hail hartals.
