16th June, 2008 - Chotanagpur to have a hartal

The Maoists have called for a 24-hour bandh in the districts of Jharkhand's North Chotanagpur region on 16th June in protest against the killing of four cadres in an encounter in Hazaribag last month. Police found maoist posters calling the bandh in the Chotanagpur region which covers the districts like Koderma, Giridih, Hazaribag and Bokaro, police said.
