All because of a small book. The dawn-to-dusk hartal called by the BJP to protest "attack'' on its youth wing workers allegedly by DYFI activists - yes you guessed it right - hit normal life in the state capital and suburbs of Thiruvananthapuram. Given the culture Kerala follows, the shops remained closed in the city, buses kept off the road and schools and colleges went without classes.
