7th June, 2008 - Tamil Nadu have it but with less impact

A daylong general strike by Left parties in Tamil Nadu on Saturday again protesting fuel price hike in protest against price hike in petroleum products did not paralyse the state of Tamil Nadu. Buses and trains operated as usual and according to police no major untoward incident was reported.
