3rd July, 2008 : Its Bihar and Jharkand's turn for Bandh

The Communist Party of India (Maoists) has called for a 24-hour long bandh across Bihar and Jharkhand. The bandh comes into effect from midnight of July 2 (very punctual about timings) and will continue to remain in force till midnight tomorrow(this can be prolonged). East Central Railway and South Eastern Railway authorities have cancelled more than eight pair of trains and have diverted the running routes of sever along distance trains passing through the two states, in view of the bandh, reports Statesman
